Deep solar- in ground geothermal heat pump system

What opportunities exist in other markets?

At nearly 20% annual growth for the past decade, the geothermal heat pump market presents a lot of opportunities for an innovative product,
but the most obvious target is the HVAC equipment manufacturing market in general

Chart Domestic HVAC Shipments

The HVAC equipment manufacturing market revenue for 2011 was $14 billion, shipments of central air conditioners and air source heat pumps totaled 5.5 million units, 67% (3,700,000 units ) were sold as replacements for older units.

Deep Solar's patented "In ground geothermal heat pump system" is the only geothermal heat pump system available that is practical to use as a replacement system. If 10% of the current air source replacements were upgraded to  ground source heat pumps, that would represent an additional $1 billion in annual revenue for the geothermal heat pump market.

CLEVELAND — According to a new study released by The Freedonia Group, demand in the United States for HVAC equipment is projected to increase 5.1 percent annually to $16.8 billion in 2015. Advances will be stimulated by growth in residential and many types of nonresidential construction spending from a low 2010 base. Rising interest in more energy-efficient HVAC systems, in part spurred by regulatory changes, will also support increased demand.

U.S. Federal Government
The Federal Government has had excellent experience with GHP development, see the following Fort Polk Study and Current Federal Policies for Geothermal Heating and Cooling Technologies

The Federal Governments policies support geothermal heat pump replacements in government buildings. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Geothermal heat pump systems are the most energy efficient, environmentally clean, and cost effective space conditioning systems available.
